As a result of the research, the concept of conducting online testing of mathematics for students of Ukrainian schools according to the model of VET/NMT was developed, the expediency of training rounds of online testing for students of schools and colleges in the format of ZNO/NMT was proven, a statistically significant difference in the results of the two rounds was established of training ZNO in samples based on the place of residence of the participants (city/village), it was proven that the points obtained by participants from rural areas are statistically significantly lower than the points obtained by participants from cities of Ukraine.
A stable trend was established in the positive value attitude of teachers towards the use of the project method in high school. Factors affecting the organization of project-oriented mathematics education of students of secondary schools were determined, namely: content-technological, result-age, praxeological factors, the influence factor of the target audience, the factor of teacher overload, the factor of the breadth of the teacher's awareness, the factor of the area. The types of knowledge that, in the opinion of practicing teachers, should be mastered by the future teacher of mathematics in the process of his professional training in order to effectively organize the project activities of schoolchildren in teaching mathematics have been identified.
The most influential were: insufficient awareness of mathematics teachers with the specifics of students' educational and research activities, low interest of students in learning mathematics in general and in educational research, in particular, insufficient ability of teachers to formulate educational research tasks, low level of formation of research skills in students. The scientific knowledge about the content and form of presentation of sets of tasks for online testing in mathematics of students of secondary schools of Ukraine on the model of ZNO/NMT was further developed
