Object of study - training of future teachers in higher education institutions. The purpose of the study is to develop and scientifically substantiate monitoring as a means of improving the quality of professional training of future preschool teachers. Modernisation aspects, which are expanding in all spheres of society, including education, actualise theoretical searches for the justification of innovation processes. Addressing the problems of innovation and highlighting them among the most important areas in modern scientific thinking is the result of an awareness of the growing dynamics of innovation processes in society. The development of any enterprise, organisation or institution is now impossible if they do not support innovation processes. The study substantiates that in order to prepare future teachers for innovations in professional activity, it is necessary to create conditions for the formation of positive motivation for the teaching profession and changes in it, the formation of values of pedagogical activity and innovations in pedagogical activity, the formation of research and reflective skills, knowledge in the field of pedagogical innovation, the current state of education, and the formation of skills to operate with them. It has been established that a purposefully organised process of training future teachers for innovations in professional activity requires intensive inclusion of innovative technologies in the training process. It has been found that without the development of independence, creative initiative, productive thinking, it is impossible to talk about the effectiveness of the process of training future teachers for innovations in professional activity. The formation of these personal and professional qualities is carried out as a result of the use of innovative technologies in the educational process.
