The object of research is storage and processing technologies of grain crops using non-traditional types of raw materials. The purpose of the work is to scientifically substantiate the possibility of using non-traditional types of raw materials in the food and compound feed industry and to develop the technology of food and feed production using non-traditional types of raw materials. Research methods - generally accepted and special technological, organoleptic, analytical, chemical, physico-chemical methods of research of quality indicators of raw materials and finished products, experimental and statistical, performed using modern devices and information technologies. The work is devoted to the issue of the use of non-traditional types of raw materials and by-products of food production in the food and compound feed industry. For a sustainable extrusion process, the raw material entering the extruder must have a moisture content of 16-20%, so the enterprises use steam or water to moisten the raw material, but when adding flax feed extracts based on water or whey, the technological operation of moistening can be excluded. Adding linseed feed extracts to the grain mixture will eliminate the operation of heating liquid components, because linseed feed extracts have a lower viscosity (0.75 Pa•s) compared to molasses (1.41 Pa•s) and fat (1.49 Pass). Exclusion of these two operations allows to reduce the use of energy resources.
