The object of the research is dynamic changes in the competitiveness of economic entities in the context of the formation of sustainable development as the basis of economic security.
The purpose of the work is the development of methodological tools and the implementation of systematic analytical studies and predictive assessments of the competitive environment of the economic entity in terms of the activation of innovative activities in the context of sustainable economic development.
Research methods – monographic description, analytical, statistical, tabular, graphic methods and mathematical modelling.
The results of the study are the development of theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations for the management of ESG-competitiveness of enterprises in the conditions of economic transformations. The scientific novelty consists in deepening the theoretical aspects of managing sustainable development at the micro level. Grounded theoretical aspects of sustainable development of business entities with an emphasis on the importance of organic production in the agricultural sector of the economy of Ukraine. A method of integrated ESG assessment of the concrete capacity of metallurgical enterprises is proposed. The vectors of creating a favourable environment for investing in the environment, the social sphere and ESG management have been identified as a unique opportunity to ensure an economically secure future for energy companies.
These studies have theoretical and practical value and are promising for enterprises of the Zaporizhzhia region.
