The purpose of the work is the development of methodological tools and the implementation of systematic analytical studies and predictive assessments of the competitive environment of the economic entity in terms of the activation of innovative activities in the context of sustainable economic development. A method of integrated ESG assessment of the concrete capacity of metallurgical enterprises is proposed. The vectors of creating a favourable environment for investing in the environment, the social sphere and ESG management have been identified as a unique opportunity to ensure an economically secure future for energy companies.
