The purpose of the study is to theoretically generalise the results of comparative pedagogical analysis in order to reveal the theoretical, methodological and instructional foundations of preschool teacher training in Western Europe and to substantiate possibilities for applying positive European experience in Ukraine’s higher education system. Research methods: system-structural and comparative-pedagogical analysis, retrospective analysis, classification and typologisation, generalisation and interpretation, interdisciplinary synthesis, conceptual analysis, pedagogical design and graphical modelling. Results and their novelty. The study refines the foundations of preschool teacher training under European integration, identifies key psychological mechanisms of professional development, substantiates a competence- and value-based model of inclusive readiness, analyses innovative educational technologies, and further develops approaches to modernising training content. The obtained results provide an evidence-based basis for renewing educator training and integrating Ukraine’s preschool education system into the European educational space.
