The development of technological solutions for the operational control of the quality and safety of food and alcoholic beverages, namely the design of innovative, widely available (cheap) sensors for visual assessment of the safety and quality of alcoholic beverages and food products without the need for special laboratory research.

Sensor designs have been developed for various types of food products (meat, dairy products, alcoholic beverages), along with proposals for a comprehensive solution—the use of these sensors in combination with biodegradable packaging possessing antibacterial properties to extend the shelf life of food products; A literature review was conducted on semipermeable membranes made of porous, hydrophobic, biologically inert polymers to prevent direct contact between the indicator (sensor) and the food product, as well as on membranes for the selective permeation of methanol in the presence of ethanol; Recommendations were developed regarding the composition and design of the sensor for use in packaging various food products and alcoholic beverages. Recommendations were developed regarding the composition of biodegradable packaging with antibacterial properties to extend the shelf life of food products.
