Purpose of research: To optimize accompanying immunotherapy at radiotherapy with the purpose to improve the quality of life of cancer patients by means of selection of immunotropic preparations considering the level of main pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines. Methods of research and equipment: Clinical, morphological, endoscopic, x-ray, hematological, immunological, biochemical, statistical, light and luminescent microscopes, spectrophotometer, blood and immunoenzyme analyzers. Theoretical and practical results: New knowledge about the changes in the content of cytokines in the blood serum of the patients with breast and uterine body cancer at various stages of radiation therapy was obtained. Correlation of cytokine levels with hematological and endocrine parameters was established. Based on complex assessment of hematological parameters, cytokine profile and quality of life parameters, the criteria of administration and protocol of the accompanying therapy were determined. A new method of accompanying therapy at radiation therapy of cancer patients, according to which immune disorders are eliminated by means of combines use of Likopid and melatonin or Galavitum and melatonin, was worked out. Novelty: New knowledge about the changes in the content of cytokines in the blood serum of the patients with breast and uterine body cancer at various stages of radiation therapy was obtained; a new method of accompanying immune therapy was worked out; new criteria of administration of accompanying immune therapy were established.
