The coach is equipped with composite brake shoes mounted on all wheel pairs. The weight of the passenger car is 66,850 t after weighing. The purpose of work is to determine the actual values of technical characteristics of passenger car, model 61-779П-Б and to evaluate their compliance with regulations at the checkout brake tests in running condition. Research results are used for compliance assessment of technical characteristics of the prototype passenger car, model 61-779П-Б with regulations and for determination of brake performance and efficiency.
