Development off of techniques of research of mechanical properties and characteristics of crack resistance of thin samples of alloy Zr1%Nb of the various form and sizes is conducted. The technique of controllable saturation by hydrogen of samples on the basis of zirconium is developed. Preliminary experiments on saturation by hydrogen samples from alloy Zr1%Nb after various high-heat treatments are made. It is installed essential decrease of plasticity and increase in values of a yield stress and microhardness in all samples of an alloy after saturation by hydrogen.
