Objective: to develop a technology for socio-hygienic health monitoring in teenagers of vocational institutions. Methods: sanitary-hygienic description of the premises for production, assessment of the illumination, temperature and humidity levels, screening-assessment of health and physical development of the vocational schools students and questioning as regards the level of formation of their lifestyle healthy skills and quality of life. Results: A system of quantitative and qualitative assessment of the environmental factors using checklists of quality has been proposed for the first time for the vocational institutions of Ukraine, which is a constituent of socio-hygienic monitoring of health of the vocational schools students. To optimize medico-organizational measures for the introduction of the system of socio-hygienic health monitoring of students under conditions of vocational schools, the computer programs have been developed for the computerized estimation of the risk factors and their subjective significance. Novelty: it has been substantiated that the important components of socio-hygienic health monitoring of students in vocational schools are sanitary-hygienic screening-characteristics of such institutions: the state of classrooms during the general training cycle, computer classes, educational activities, teaching and training activities, as well as organization of medical support, physical training, nutrition, ergonomics of work places, subjective assessment of the teaching -and -training environment risks, health of the students' community (according to the data of the complete medical examination and screening-assessment), characters of the daily routine, factors of deviant behavior, risks of the immediate social surrounding, learning environment, and food behavior. Effectiveness: some parameters for hygienic assessment of teaching-and-training environment have been defined for the purpose of using a comprehensive approach to the introduction of socio-hygienic health monitoring of students in vocational schools. Employment of the obtained index assessment of the teaching-and-training environment safety makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of medical preventive measures and contributes to the students' health promotion in vocational schools.
