Sedimentation and aggregative stable ferrofluid based on 8 nm CoFe2O4 nanoparticles with a high magnetization was developed. It was found that in magnetic non-destructive testing method both magnetic particles and solvent of the ferrofluid are drawn, in contrast to the suspension of microparticles. Defect image widen, that increase sensitivity of the method. The testing conditions have been investigated.
