Clinical observation of patients with thyroid nodules was performed followed with assessment of results of sonographic examination, laboratory, biochemical, cytological, morphological, immunohistochemical data and molecular tests. The complex of clinical, laboratory, sonographic, histopathological and molecular) criteria for predicting thyroid carcinoma outcome was established. The predictive value of TSH concentration, loss of cell polarity, intravascular or capsular invasion, expansion, vascular and degenerative changes in the tumor was defined. The results of this study ground the development of recommendations for assessing the risk of progression of thyroid carcinoma, that allows to improve the quality of diagnostics and management.
