It has been developed an indicator to determine the impact of diffuse sources on the ecological state of surface water bodies. Thresholds value were obtained for various categories of risk from diffuse sources. The determination of anthropogenic impact from diffuse sources in the South Bug river basin at the level of surface water massifs was carried out. The risks to fail a "good" ecological state from diffuse sources are estimated.5481
