The use of the developed system during the control of the physical and mechanical characteristics of the powder structural materials allows to reduce by an order the random error of measuring the speed of propagation of the ultrasonic wave and the standard deviation of the scattering of the results of the control due to the measuring factor. The structural scheme, hardware and system design for estimation of change of physical and mechanical characteristics by the results of ultrasonic non-destructive testing is developed. The reduction of the total error of measuring the speed of propagation of the ultrasonic wave in powder structural materials was achieved due to the complex application of automation of the process of obtaining measurement information, methods of statistical data processing, advanced orthogonal discrete phase method of measuring time delay and a set of structural parameters. The proposed ultrasonic method for measuring the physical and mechanical characteristics of powder structural materials and a device that implements it made it possible to ensure the measurement of the speed of ultrasonic wave propagation in materials with an error of less than 1%. The method of control of physical and mechanical parameters of powder structural materials according to the obtained results of the speed of propagation of ultrasonic waves and the method of working out the technology of manufacturing powder structural materials according to the results of ultrasonic non-destructive testing.
