A critical element in improving the biosecurity system is the medical and biological assessment of the effectiveness of quarantine and restrictive measures, the use of the necessary level of personal protective equipment and the system of safe operation of critical infrastructure. The implementation of biosafety management measures requires a critical number of highly qualified specialists with modern knowledge and technologies capable of developing, testing and applying in practice technologies and means of protection against biohazards, and manage the biosafety. The project envisages: scientific substantiation of the concept of training (retraining) of specialists in biosafety and biosecurity, incl. development of the educational program, educational and methodical maintenance and the organization of laboratories of management of biosafety and identification of biothreats.
