The purpose of the work is to develop a laboratory method for isolation and purification of c- and g-type lysozyme from avian egg protein, to conduct a set of physicochemical studies to establish the protein-fractional composition, molecular weight of isolated enzymes The scientific report presents a review of the literature on modern methods of isolation and purification of lysozyme from avian egg white, substantiates the relevance of the study and proposes new approaches for obtaining c- and g-type lysozymes in the laboratory. A modification of the laboratory method for isolating c-type lysozyme from chicken and quail egg protein has been proposed, which allows to obtain an enzyme with a purity of 98% and a hydrolytic activity of 22025 IU/mg, corresponding to the brand drug "AppliChem". In order to develop a method for isolating g-type lysozyme, the influence of the volume ratios of protein: solvent, temperature regimes of the process was studied. It was found that for g-type lysozyme the use of the method of thermal denaturation of impurity proteins is impractical due to loss of activity. Partially purified g-type lysozyme with hydrolytic activity of 1333 U/cm3 was obtained by gel chromatography with a preliminary stage of lyophilization. The MALDI method determined the peak of 22391 m/z, which corresponds to M.m. lysozyme g-type and coincides with the literature. The establishment of the protein-fractional composition of the partially purified drug by electrophoresis in SDS page is consistent with the data of MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and indicates the need for additional stages of purification of g-type lysozyme.
