During the performance of the tasks the chronological genesis of the DPM exposition of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the context of the Anthropocene concept was investigated. The thematic interpretation of the scientific and natural collections of the DPM was created. Updated and detailed thematic-exhibition structure of the main 9 themes of the exposition and three independent paths of visiting the exhibition : Windows of science, Sounds in the life of animals, Children's trail. Based on the analysis of the collections and the interpretive concept, the source base of the main exhibition is created. The thematic plan of the main exhibition has been developed, work on the interactive elements of the exposition has begun. In the context of the challenges of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the museum space is adapted for comfortable and safe visiting through visual communication and the creation of popular science thematic content that informs visitors about new rules of conduct both in museums and in everyday life.
