Studies of the structure of materials using X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy, methods for determining the density, hardness, crack resistance, strength, wear resistance of new materials. The evolution of structural characteristics of nanoceramics as a function of radiation - induced grain growth has been studied. To vary the grain size in the material, a preliminary mechanochemical treatment of the charge in a planetary mill was performed. The technique of reaction hot pressing for production of ceramic composite materials is developed. Physical models of nanocomposite radiation-resistant and radiation-protective materials have been created.
