To achieve the goals of the project, the most promising is the chemical processing of polyurethane waste with glycolysis. The method requires special hardware, elevated temperatures (180-250ͦ0C), as well as the use of appropriate activators, reagents, special solvents. This makes it possible to achieve the full use of hydrocarbons to obtain recycled polyols, reduce energy costs and avoid CO2 emissions. At the first stage of the project, a laboratory thermo-chemical reactor for processing polyurethane waste by glycolysis was developed and created.
