The densities of carbon materials were obtained, which are ρ = 0.12 g/cm3 for CSTR-08 and ρ = 0.43 g/cm3 for CSTR-36B. The prevailing pore size for carbon materials is established. For the studied porous materials, the values of the Porod constant Kr, the Porod invariant, and the specific surface area of the pores of the material, which are Kp = 28,0 Å-4, Qp = 470 Å-3, S = 1875 m2/g for CSTR-08 and Kp = 98,3 Å-4, Qp = 1980 Å-3, S = 1560 m2/g CSTR-36B. The porosity of carbon materials CSTR-08 – w = 0.95 and CSTR-36B – w = 0.83 was established. The method of manufacturing elementary electrochemical cells with various binding components and electrolyte types has been developed. The physicochemical properties of electrochemical cells were determined. Calculated specific capacitance values of 136 F/g for sample CSTR-08 and 125 F/g for CSTR-36 in KOH and 68 F/g and 101 F/g, respectively, for the same samples but in [C2H5]4NBF4 in acetonitrile. A study of the frequency dependences of the complex impedance of CSTR-08 and CSTR-36 materials in aqueous and organic electrolytes was carried out. The samples were modified with FeCl3 solution. The porosity of CSTR-08 modified FeCl3 carbon materials was determined to be w = 0.81. Based on the conducted studies of galvanostatic charge–discharge curves, the values of the specific capacity of the FeCl3-modified CSTR-08 sample were calculated, amounting to 196.29 F/g. A study of the frequency dependencies of the complex impedance of the FeCl3-modified CSTR-08 sample was conducted. Electrochemical characteristics were determined by the method of cycling (charge/discharge) in the galvanostatic mode for electrochemical cells.
