One such gene is beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) and kappa-casein (CSN). Molecular genetic markers and optimal conditions for their use in the study of the genetic structure of domestic goat populations in the direction of dairy productivity were selected. In the pilot study, it was found that in the experimental group of goats of the Zaanen breed, the allele G occurred with a frequency of 0.716 and the allele A with a frequency of 0.283 for the beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) gene.
