At the VDSS, in collaboration with specialists in in vitro cell and tissue culture of the Department of Genetics and Cytology of the IBKiCB from 2021 to 2025, both theoretical and practical scientific research was conducted on to develop a method for creating genetic diversity of the initial breeding material with a low trichome content and creating spring oat varieties based on them using embryo culture. As a result of the research, a tetraploid form of oats was obtained according to the genetic model ♀ 2x x♂ 6x.
