For the first time, a classification scheme of biotopes of nature conservation areas of Kryvyi Rih was formed based on the National Catalogue of Biotopes of Ukraine. It is proposed to expand the boundaries of 3 protected areas – geological natural monuments “Slate Rocks”, “Arkose Sandstone Outcrops”, “Skelevatka Outcrops”; botanical materials were prepared to substantiate the feasibility of increasing their area. Botanical justification of the feasibility of creating a new protected area with the status of “protected tract” – "Veseli Terny Park", with a total area of 64 hectares. The study of the coenotic and biotopic localization, age structure of populations of rare species Eremogone cephalotes and Gymnospermium odessanum was continued in the natural tracts of Kryvyi Rih. It was revealed that the population of E. cephalotes in the gully Zelena, which is in the southern outskirts of Kryvyi Rih, belongs to the normal full-membered type with a right-sided age spectrum. The population of G. odessanum is young, full-membered, with a predominance of young vegetative individuals, of the normal type. Its self-maintenance occurs by seed.
