The goal is to apply AI technology to detect misinformation in real-time, thereby enhancing information security and reducing the impact of fake news on society. popup.description2 As part of the research project “TruScanAI: A Tool for Detecting Fake Information Based on Artificial Intelligence Technologies to Combat Disinformation”, a comprehensive study was conducted on methods and technologies for identifying false content in the media space. The relevance of the project stems from the growing volume of disinformation, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine, which necessitates innovative solutions to ensure information security. The aim of the project was to develop an innovative tool, TruScanAI, capable of automatically analyzing textual, audio, and video materials to detect fake information. Within the project, algorithms for emotional text analysis, synthesized voice recognition, and facial expression and motion analysis for deepfake detection were developed and tested. A working prototype of the system was created, tested, optimized, and prepared for commercialization. The project results are supported by publications in scientometric journals, defended master's theses, submitted intellectual property applications, and participation in international conferences. TruScanAI has demonstrated high effectiveness in detecting disinformation, opening up prospects for its integration into media systems and use in both public and private sectors.
