The monograph presents the theory and methodology of the formation of socio-cultural values of students in the educational environment of higher education institutions as a relatively new area of research and educational practice in Ukraine. Theoretical and methodological principles of the research are substantiated in the format of interdisciplinary interpretation of the phenomenon “socio-cultural values”; the structure, criteria, indicators and levels of formation of students’ socio-cultural values are determined; the axio-oriented educational environment of higher education institution as a sphere of formation of socio-cultural values is characterized; the logic of axio-oriented educational environment in the context of axiogenesis of socio-cultural values, the model and methods of formation of socio-cultural values of students of higher education institution are presented.
