General trends of development of science and philosophy in the interaction with the culture and diversity of human activity are traced. Authors explain the role of bioethics in addressing human toughest philosophical issues. Value of science for the adaptation of the individual in modern technicized, informatized and globalized world is highlighted. Historical role of bioethics as an integral part of the progress of human cognitive activity is shown. It is concluded that bioethics today not only combines the industry, it returns a philosophy in the development of specific knowledge in another role, applying different requirements. Стаття присвячена аналізу головних факторів, що спричиняють появу біоетики, зокрема пов’язаних із загальним процесом розвитку знання, як наукового, так і ненаукового, та культури.
