The market of polymeric and combined packaging for fruit and vegetable pastes and sauces existing in Ukraine is reviewed. The existing synthetic materials are analyzed and new world developments in the sphere of solving the problem with waste products (natural-based packing materials) are considered. Polymeric materials used for the production of pastes and sauces by the organoleptic, physical and chemical indexes are identified.
