On the basis of theoretical spectra fitting to observational data, it is planned to study the physical conditions in their atmospheres, to determine the evolutionary changes of fundamental characteristics. This will allow us to test modern concepts about the nature of such objects. The proposed work is based on the use of modern methods of chemical equilibrium modeling in the atmospheres of late spectral type stars, calculations of synthetic spectra, taking into account specific sources of opacity. These sources include the opacities caused by the absorption in lines of polyatomic molecules. Note that the processes of spectra formation in the atmospheres of objects with low effective temperatures differ significantly from the case of solar-type stars.
