On the basis of in-depth critical analysis of world and domestic experience, own original developments and special researches in model regions of Ukraine and in nature conservation territories, to conduct environmental assessment of habitat diversity and its changes under the influence of different forms of management and environmental regime. Develop and test methods for habitat diversity inventory and analysis. On the basis of the obtained data, to create registers of types of settlements that need priority protection in view of their sozological status. On the example of model regions of western Ukraine, propose measures for the conservation of biota and landscapes in different conditions of use of the territory, taking into account the principles of the settlement concept of biodiversity conservation. Based on the obtained data, develop recommendations for the implementation of scientific principles of sustainable nature management in the conditions of sustainable development.
