To do this, it is planned to study in detail the features of the carbon cycle in the wetland systems of Ukraine using analytical models, satellite data and ground-based field studies. The result of such a study should be the determination of patterns, anomalies, and important feedbacks that affect the processes of carbon extraction and emissions by wetland systems under climatic changes and anthropogenic pressures. This will make it possible to clarify forecasts of climatic changes at the regional and local level, improve landscape management strategies, primarily wetland management, and also develop recommendations for minimizing negative consequences and adapting the social sphere to climate changes at the regional and local levels. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-10 Close
