Therefore, this segment of the Ukrainian market is largely filled with products of foreign origin. These products are quite expensive, in addition, they were developed for foreign countries and do not take into account the peculiarities of Ukrainian food. At the same time, Ukraine is an agricultural country and has a high potential of vegetable raw materials that can be used as full-fledged ingredients of health and fitness products. Soluble dietary fiber of the inulin group (oligofructose and inulin) can be widely used in health food products, and they serve as ingredients in products for diabetics, to lower cholesterol, immunomodulators, etc. An outstanding sugar-lowering effect was also found in the fruits and herbs of Momordica сharantia, adaptogenic properties were found in the gynostemma pentaphyllium, plants of the pumpkin family, which is successfully grown in Ukraine. Other promising plants for health products: ashwagandha, bakopa Monier, sage pineapple, jujube, etc. Legume sprouts, including lentils, alfalfa, and clover, are important in the development of fitness products. These are foods designed to eliminate the body's deficiency of vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, macro-and micronutrients, accelerate the excretion of toxins from the body. The recommendations concerning the range of health food and fitness products will be aimed at different groups of the adult population and are aimed at improving metabolism, strengthening the general physical, biological and intellectual state of man, improving efficiency and life expectancy. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
