The project deals with modifcation of materials with a qualitatively new range of properties and will create the physical basis of a fundamentally new plasma technology based on combinations of plasma methods. The proposed project provides an opportunity to combine for the first time the most efficient technological solutions within one technological process / installation. Such a universal installation can become unique in its kind, as a result of synergy when combining in a single technological cycle the following methods of surface modification: 1) Deposition of wear-resistant hard and superhard coatings with low coefficient of friction for couplings operating in conditions of friction and maximum lubrication. 2) diffusion saturation of the near-surface layer of machine parts with gas atoms (nitriding, carbidization, oxidation); 3) creation of functional self-lubricating nanocomposites with the required characteristics for the parts of the piston group of engines of special equipment; 4). Development of heat-protective coating of the combustion chamber of the steel substrate of the engine, which operates in conditions ≥ 1000oC. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
