The obtained research results will shed light on the solution of many problems in the selection of flax, because now the potential of the culture is not fully disclosed and is limited by various abiotic factors. In addition, the requirements for the quality of oilseed flax seeds are significantly increasing. There is a high demand for flaxseed oil, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and flaxseed products that contain fiber. Mucous substances from the surface of flax seeds are identified as a valuable source of dietary fiber that can be used to prevent gastric cancer. In many countries, much attention is paid to this culture as an indispensable product for functional nutrition. Intensification of agriculture necessitates the cultivation of more agricultural products per unit area, so HDPE is aimed at creating varieties of flax more adapted to adverse agro-climatic conditions that respond well to the application of mineral fertilizers, modern protection, and innovative tillage technologies.
