The peculiarities of the interaction of plasma with surfaces of complex geometry selected for the most energy-loaded sections of a thermonuclear reactor will be studied. Development of physical bases of generation and diagnostics of powerful plasma flows, development of highly efficient ion-plasma sources for thermonuclear and technological applications Development of methods of plasma probing by beams of accelerated particles. Analysis of plasma parameters at thermonuclear installations depending on discharge conditions. Studies of plasma parameters will be performed on stellarators Hurricane-2M (Kharkov) and TJ-II (Madrid) using diagnostic complexes on accelerated beams of cesium ions and sodium atoms. Diagnostic complexes developed in the IFP NSC KIPT will be used. On the Hurricane-2M stellarator it is planned to measure plasma parameters with a diagnostic complex on heavy ion beams and a complex on atomic beams in one plasma cross section, which will allow to carry out a comparative analysis of the obtained results. Also, a comparative analysis of the data will be performed on the basis of the results obtained on the diagnostic complexes on the beams of heavy ions of the Hurricane-2M and TJ-II stellarators.
