In addition, the equipment must also meet modern requirements for energy and resource conservation. Induction heating and metal melting are the best solution to ensure performance and accuracy. Induction channel furnace is a double-acting unit - a highly efficient smelting unit with the ability to control the movement of the melt to obtain a uniform distribution of impurities during melting. For preliminary analysis of electromagnetic influence on metal melting and calculation of parameters and integral characteristics of such induction channel furnaces (ICP) it is necessary to receive the model considering all complex of influences, namely: - electromagnetic influence, which causes the induction of eddy currents in the metal, which heats and melts the metal; - thermal influence, which consists in the formation of a given picture of the temperature field in the ICP; - hydrodynamic influence, which significantly affects the technological parameters of melting. The purpose of the work is to develop a new scientific concept for calculating electromagnetic, thermal and magnetohydrodynamic processes in an induction furnace by developing the theory of electrothermal analogy. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
