Theoretical principles and practical recommendations for the use of population monitoring for the purpose of preserving rare plant species, certain animal species and their habitats in the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians will be substantiated and developed. On the basis of these studies, general schemes of monitoring programs will be developed for plant species of different life forms and types of biomorphs, with excellent ecological and biological properties, life cycles and methods of reproduction and different vulnerability to threat factors. Schemes of monitoring programs will also be developed for individual species of animals - planktonic crustaceans and amphibians. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
