The use of optical means to analyze the kinetics of changes in the surface relief under acoustic and magnetic excitation is one of the key factors in the development of new complex methods of non-destructive testing. This optical control will be based on the high-speed methods of phase shift interferometry, projection profilometry, analysis of dynamic speckle images and polarization optics and will make it possible to obtain more reliable information about changes in the state of the surface of structural elements and their deviations from established norms. It will make it possible to more accurately set parameters of defects such as size, shape and depth of occurrence. Interferometry and profilometry are aimed at monitoring changes in surface roughness and changes in the shape of structural elements, and polarization optics at detecting corrosion damage, hidden cracks and changes in the metal structure at the initial stages of their appearance. The use of acoustic resonance will make it possible to detect and identify subsurface defects in structural elements made of layered polymer composites and areas of damage to protective paint coatings, and magnetic excitation - mechanical and corrosion damage to metal alloys. Assessment of the relationship between the parameters of the detected defect, the physical and mechanical properties of the material and the characteristics of the probing field is an important stage in the development of the proposed methods of non-destructive testing. This stage requires the creation of new mathematical models and the solution of relevant problems to describe the dependencies between these parameters and the characteristics of the probing field popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
