The study is relevant due to the growing complexity and unpredictability of the economic environment. Modern enterprises face numerous challenges, such as changes in market conditions, globalisation, technological development and external risks. In this context, due diligence is a key tool for improving the level of economic security of an enterprise. In addition, due diligence allows not only to identify problems but also to analyse their causes, enabling the company to make informed decisions to prevent crises and ensure stability in the challenging environment of modern business. This approach is important for achieving competitive advantages and creating a sustainable economic basis for further development of the company. Comprehensive diagnostics allows us to analyse the efficiency of the company's internal processes, identify problematic aspects and propose the best ways to improve them, which leads to increased performance.
