In the context of the stated goal, to establish geopolitical models of the past and present, to determine the circumstances of the formation of systems of international relations, the rise of modern geostrategic players on the international arena, to reveal new geopolitical realities after the world wars. Identify the main trends in the development of the modern world, in particular, regarding globalization, political and economic integration and disintegration, international terrorism, and the crisis of the global security system. Special emphasis is planned to be placed on Ukraine's entry into the new system of international relations, European integration and Russian aggression against our state.
