In recent years, much attention has been paid worldwide to the development of installations for the conversion of renewable types of energy into electricity and decentralization. The International Energy Association, Greenpeace and the European Commission predict long-term growth of the renewable energy market. In Ukraine, hundreds of previously abandoned mini-hydroelectric power plants are being restored and new ones are being built on hydrotechnical structures of non-energy facilities, which include water towers, agricultural irrigation systems, water pumps, etc. Thus, the energy potential of only small and mini-HPPs of Ukraine on small rivers is estimated, without taking into account micro-HPPs and the use of watercourses of technical water supply systems, at 2300 MW - 2400 MW (12.0-12.5) billion. kWh, and the primary economically expedient and ecologically safe potential is 600 MW -700 MW (3-7) billion. kWh One of the ways to increase the efficiency of renewable energy sources is the improvement of automatic control systems, namely their optimization and maximum simplification without deterioration of control quality indicators. The main goal of the research is the theoretical generalization and scientific justification of increasing the energy efficiency of renewable energy sources by improving automatic control systems.
