Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description1 The aim of the research work is: - to investigate the literary process (creative methods, poetics, genres) in Ukrainian, foreign, and Slavic literatures from ancient times to the present, the regularities of the development of 20th-century literature in its entirety, as well as at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, considering the current state of theoretical and methodological understanding of literary material; - to study modern (Ukrainian, Polish, English, Slavic) and classical (Greek, Latin) languages using theoretical and methodological principles of modern linguistics, in particular sociolinguistics, linguistic culturology, and cognitive linguistics; - to highlight innovative processes in modern word formation and grammar; - to characterize lexical semantics in both synchronic and diachronic dimensions; - to analyze the linguistic play as a means of emotive communication in posters of public actions and mass events; - to research key conceptual markers of Ukrainian identity in Ukrainian-language poetic texts of the 19th–21st centuries; - to study the semantic-syntactic organization and stylistic means and techniques in texts of different genres and styles from a functional aspect; - to justificate the methodological foundations, principles of compilation, and parametric characteristics of a dictionary of oral folk speech; - to present the criticism of dictionaries in Ukraine as an independent scientific direction, revealing its stages of development, theoretical foundations, and discursive practices; - to analyse the phenomenon of code-switching and mixing of linguistic and graphic codes in early modern texts, highlighting the specifics of the linguistic and cultural polyphony of the Ukrainian linguistic and cultural space of the early modern period; popup.nrat_date 2025-03-18 Close
