Compounds inhibiting grippal (AV-4, AV-6, AV-8), herpeticx (AV-4, AV-9, AV-10, AV-32) and HIV (AV-4, AV-6) viruses were revealed among adamantane and norbornane derivatives. Compounds AV-1, AV-10, AV-32 possess interferonogenic action which does not yield to that of acyclovir. AV-4 is of particular attention, which possesses wide spectrum of antiviral activity (inhibits grippal, herpetic and HIV viruses) and doesn't yield to that of remantadine, acyclovir and azidothymidine.
