The methods employed : theoretical modelling of hydrogen degradation of materials and experimental investigations to find parameters, describing hydrogen degradation process. The developed models of crack prorogation in deforms bodies under hydrogen effect : an adsorption models for little bodies and dislocation models for plastics bodies. The main regularities of hydrogen influence on the formation and degradation of intercrystal-line, carbide and nitride phases have been established. An approach to assesing the residual life of pipe-lint metal, from the view point of the negative hydrogen effect, has been established. A new scientific basis for improvement of the resistance of refrectory Ni-based alloys to hydrogen degradation owing to creation of the metal optimal structural state has been work out. Results used for technological and economical substan tiation : reconstruction of units № 8, № 11, № 12 at Burshtyn thermal power plant, in production of power engineering products at R&D "Khimautomatica" (Voronezh).
