Development of methods of optimal simulation of performances of soli-ton FOTL and research of capabilities of their usage on longdistances communication lines of Ukraine. The purpose of activity - development of a method of the analysis of dispersion and power performances of a single-mode graded-index fiber on the basis of variation principles; research techniques and computer simulation of features of expansion of soliton pulses in modern optical fibers with the purpose of usage of their unique properties for introduction on longdistances communication lines of Ukraine. The research technique - was developed mathematical algorithm of simulation of transmitting performances and parameters of optic fibres; the procedure is realized by the way of software package on PC for simulation of transmitting performances and parameters of optic fibres. Were received the fibers with the e nlarged frequency band of a single mode, with a displaced and rounded dispersion, with the enlarged effective square. On the basis of offered method of synthesis of single-mode graded-index optic fibres. Was realised the method of a numerical solution of offered set of equations that has allowed to simulate and to optimize parameters of modern soliton FOTL by pulses without usage of the expensive equipment for realization of experiment. The received optic fibres of new types will be introduced at designing and operation FOTL on transmission networks of Ukraine. The offered parameters of soliton FOTL will be applied at designing and operation of soliton FOTL on transmission networks of Ukraine. Field of application - communication.
