The study of undistorted transmission opportunities along HDW for radiation beams in form of the sombrero and supergaussian functions, the theoretical and experimental research of the transverse mode selection methods in the laser resonators containing waveguide and open sections are the purpose of this work. The relations between radius of a waveguide, its length and radiation wavelength are obtained, at which the undistorted transmission of radiation beams in form of the sombrero and supergaussian functions is provided.
