Contingent of investigation: 73 patients with epilepsy in old-age in condition of clinical compensation and decompensation of disease have been investigated. The purpose of work: The complex studies of clinical current of epilepsy, brain electrogeneses, condition of cerebral hemodinamics and development of oxidative-stress in patients with epilepsy of old-age. Methods of investigation and equipment: clinical investigation in dynamics; electroencephalography; MLSD; studies of free radical oxidation; Htomography; MRI. In springing of epileptic process in old-age patients an important role belongs to cerebrovascular changes. At the same time long-live epilepsy with beginning of old-age convulsive changes become rarely. The common type of epileptic attack in old-age is focal, it accompanied secondery generalization. Adding to electroencephalographic changes of vascular pathology, the definite "epileptical" electroencephalographic phenomenas reduced. Gemodynamics changes are coming up in decompensation of epilepsy and show the asymmetry of circulation rate, increase of pulse-index and difficulty of venous discharge. During decompensation of epilepsy the lipid oxidation becomes activated - it's one of the pathogenesis' epilepsy link. The medical correction of these processes contributes to achievement of epilepsy even without changes the scheme of anticonvulsive therapy. Adoption of these results contributes the quality of treatment of patients with epilepsy in old-age, achievement of stable remission of disease, improvement patients life, suffering from epilepsy of old-age.
