The most widespread abroad appear to be economic indicators that characterize the level of economy of production resources and the overall efficiency of costs related to the realization of R&D results in the production. Also quite widespread is determination of risks related to economic situation on the national, sectoral and company level. In the course of determination of the projects' significance also are taken into account their orioginal character, contribution to community, social purpose and other estimation criteria. Special attention was given to the methods of comparison between different indicators and approaches to the determination of general estimates.
