Objective: working out a scientifically substantiated system of health support concerning organization of mass recreation, rest and rehabilitation of schoolchildren with different health status at pediatric health promotion organizations (PHPO) of various type. Methods: sanitary-hygienic, conventional clinical, psychologic and statis- tical. Theoretical and practical results: optimal conditions for organization of public rest, health promotion and rehabilitation for schoolchildren at PHPO were determined. The system and program of health improving and prophylaxis for schoolchildren with different health status were worked out. Novelty: a scientifically substantiated integrative system concerning organization of mass recreation and health improving aiming at health preservation and rehabilitation of schoolchildren during their stay at PHPO has been worked out for the first time in this country. Effectiveness: the use of the system contributes to considerable decrease of pediatric complaints and prevents acute attacks of chronic diseases; its use also increases muscular strength of the wrists, functional level of cardio-vascular system and psychoemotional status.
