Using in situ data and numerical modeling a dangerous hydrophysical, geophysical, anthropogenic phenomena and processes taking place in the Black Sea and having real influence on ecological safety of the southern coast of Ukraine have been studied. Collected experimental information concerning bays and estuary of the Black Sea has been analyzed. Ecological and geological studies conducted in the land - sea conjugate zone before have been summarized. Methods of receiving information about ecological and geological parameters used in instrument have been analyzed. Review of state of the land - sea conjugate zone has been done with addition of diagrams and graphs which characterize different parameters of environment. Strategy on carrying out some types of ecological and geological studies has been developed. Recommendations on organization and carrying out ecological monitoring of the Ukrainian land - sea conjugate zone have been given. Complex studies of wave motions have been conducted in separate regions of the Black Sea. Investigation of generations of mesoscale fluctuations and their influence upon variability of hydrological and chemical fields has been given a special consideration.
